My Laptop won't turn on and I'm not sure what to do?

I own a Lenovo K55VD laptop and it's not switching on. The Power light comes on, including charger light and Wi-Fi light, but the screen won't start and it doesn't seem to be booting up. This will only happen if the charger is plugged in too. I tried to order a new battery and charger but that didn't help either. I did spill some water over the keyboard while ago, but that was a year before it stopped working. I was told by someone that the motherboard had died and it's unfixable.

What do you think has stopped working and if it is the motherboard, can it be repaired?

How to make stylus work on pc?

My brother has an Asus Chromebook and it came with a stylus. I have a Lenovo Flex 3 PC and I tried his stylus on it and it didn't work. I figure they both use touch screen technology so there should be a way I can use his stylus on mine. Any thoughts on how to make this work?

Cyberlink Power DVD 14 won't play DVDs?

So I've had my laptop since Christmas and I've been watching movies and TV shows with Cyberlink since then and it never gave me a problem. Now, randomly, I went to watch a movie and when the Cyberlink thing opens, it stays on the welcome screen and freezes, and won't let me play my DVD. I've tried it with four different DVDs to see if they were the problem, but none of them worked. Can I fix this? I really want to watch True Blood lol. My Lenovo Ideapad came with Cyberlink, if that does anything. If I can't fix it, Is there another DVD thing I can download for free that actually works?

What are the differences between Notebooks and Laptops?

I don't know the difference and I took my Lenovo 510S out in the hot sun for a few hours for two days and the back plastic cover small corner melted causing tiny plastic of Ethernet hole entrance to break off which I didn't notice till today. When you buy these things they never warn you that you can't use it outside etc. And also I don't know the difference cos you can use both of them for computer programming, they do same things except I chose this laptop cos it's thin and white coloured. The damn thing is getting old I noticed today as well as the colour is not as strong and the small dirt streaks can't be wiped off. I only use it for my uni work and browsing, nobody said anything about using it outside in hot temperatures what the hell?!

Is Lenovo laptop brand mostly good recommended or bad?

Three months ago mid January, i bought a brand new Lenovo 510S white laptop. I'm an IT student and i read somewhere that Lenovo is good but i was out in the sun with my laptop at Mid 20s degrees celcius yesterday and the day before for three hrs each day. This morning i was putting the charger in on the side and i noticed small cracks at the edge with a little piece of plastic broken off from the entrance of something like a USB port, it's not exactly a USB port but something goes in there such as an Ethernet cable. I looked around that and at the top of that corner, looks like the tiny corner has been melted. I was shocked as i didn't know this is happening to a laptop of £600, on top of that i've only had it for 3 months. I don't use it excessively as i have an iPad and a good mobile phone too, i was thinking it was the heat from being outside each time which melted the plastic back but the front of the laptop is made of metal(when you open it), I only use it for browsing and uni work.

So what other laptop brands are good so if this one doesn't last forever i could use that brand instead. I don't want Apple cos it might not be easy for me to use for programming, not really interested in Apple products anyway cos they seem expensive for nothing. I only chose this Lenovo cos it's average priced and i like the thin design and colour white. What do i do now? Although everything else such as charging port, USB, internal etc. Is working fine.

Overwatch Download File?

I want to download overwatch on my school computer. It's a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 370. I don't know how much space Overwatch requires nor do I know how much my computer can handle. Does anyone know if it would be safe for me to download it? What would happen to my computer if I download a file too big for it to handle? Will it cause permanent damage?
