Ok so I'm a 14 year old girl having to pay for an $1,000 laptop. So if I make a presentation about what's good about it and what's not so good about the laptop, maybe they'd chip in or even get me one for my next birthday. I'm asking for this because it's really hard trying to edit videos and do homework on an hp laptop which is one big virus.

Added (1). It still has a one year warranty until next year February. I might upgrade the CPU to a i7 8MB Cache Quad Core at 35W but I think it would be a 3.6GHz (another extra $320)
I could also install Windows 8.1 Pro since the PC came with it.

Added (3). Sorry for all the updates. I just want a cheap tablet and that would be enough. I only check email and write on my blog so a $50 tablet with a keyboard is plenty. I love building computers for others though and upgrading and making systems amazing

How to disable the f4 key on lenovo laptop, windows 8?
Added (1). My f4 key shuts down my browser page without warning. And it right beside my volume keys. So sometimes when i want to turn the volume up i accidently close all my tabs

**i would like to expand my ram to 8gb because the cpu can carry simcity but ram is not enough
So, when I boot my laptop, the sound is initially working fine. However, if I leave it for too long, usually a few minutes, without ANY sound playing from it, the sound will just plain not work. I've tried muting it and un-muting it and checking to see if the speakers are working properly and according to the laptop they are. However, if I put it to sleep and then re-open it, the sound is working perfectly fine unless I leave it for too long again without playing any sound. Any suggestions?

My Graphics Card is not enough for playing heavy games (i.e, GTA IV), so I want to buy & add new Video Card (like-Asus NVIDIA GeForce EN210 Silent 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card) on it… Will my motherboard manage this? Or something more need to do this…
