Is the difference between an Nvidia GeForce GT720M and GT820M that much?

I'm looking to buy a laptop and I'm choosing between a Lenovo and an MSI.

Lenovo S410P 5939-1169
- Intel Core i5 1.6 GHz, 3MB L3
- 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD
- Nvidia GeForce GT720M 2GB

MSI CX61 2PC-i5047
- Intel Core i5 4200M
- 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 750 GB HDD
- Nvidida GT820M 2GB DDR3

They're almost the same in price. Which one do you think would provide the better graphics performance? Since they're specs are almost the same, I'm guessing that the different graphics card with the higher number makes the MSI faster. Am I right? As of now, I'm more inclined to buy the Lenovo one since I like the design much better and it has a touch screen but will the difference in the graphics card be that much for me to just consider buying the MSI one?

Lenovo x200 dispay problems after battery drain?

When I connect to another dispay the display on the laptop goes black and there's nothing on the external dispay.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I tried updating the drivers, they are up to date.
Tried reinstalling the drivers. (nothing)

Which computer for Sims 3?

I don't understand much about laptops, but I have limited funds and a need for a new machine. I want a laptop running on OS Windows 7, but it must also be able to run The Sims 3. I have these two options:

a) Lenovo B590 Windows 7 Pentium 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black) 59410452
http://smile.amazon.com/...00HEYVAN6/

b) Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E545 20B20011US 15.6-Inch Laptop
http://smile.amazon.com/...00FU83YWS/

Does anyone have one of these and The Sims 3? I don't want descriptions of The Sims 3 requirements, please (I've come as close to those as I could with my picks--I think). I want the opinion of someone who actually uses these laptops to play The Sims 3 or has some other one that does. I'll also take a laptop suggestion so long as it's within or near the same price range, has Windows 7, and is a laptop.

Is the lenovo y510p reliable?

It seems that the y410p isn't, but the y510p has excellent specs, good price, and respectable reviews on the company site. However, I was just on a tech site and some people were having problems with slow start up and has trouble with the power button. Does anyone know if these problems are wide-spread, or if they're just outliers?

Which laptop should I buy? - 2

I need a new laptop for my University, I'm starting Art and Technology which has to do with Broadcasting, Web, Advertising, Entertainment, and Concept Development. Basically, I need a good working laptop.
I didn't want to get a Mac. I know that macs are very popular for media like editing and such, but I simply HATE the OS. I love windows (I'm thinking about simply installing windows on a mac, but it's so much easier to get a cheaper, better working laptop).

Right now I have a Lenovo Z370 ideapad
Intel Core i3 2.20GHz with 4GB of RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce 410M
This isn't good enough for what I actually need, right?

Any recommendations, that are below the price of a Macbook, but work better or as good as?
Or any specs I should be looking at such as CPU or something?

Also the RAM of the Toshiba is expandable to 16 GB but not the Lenovo.

I have got lenovo g550. When I begin to watch video(even the videos that I've watched before without any problem), play game or simply just connecting internet it randomly shuts down in a few minutes? I don't know what is the reason. Please help. I searched for viruses and any problems with windows 7 but no. Also I format my pc reloaded windows but the problem continues.
