Processor running to fast?
I have a lenovo Y510p i7 and on my task manager it tells me that the maximum speed is 2.4ghz but i often see the actual speed at over 4.0 ghz. Does anybody know why? Is this bad for my cpu?

I wanted to get some insights on this possible laptop I'm about to get. Do you think this would be fine for school and some gaming usage? The only "big" game I really play is Aion. Sometimes Left 4 Dead. Other than that game(s) and some school work, I watch and stream videos online.
This is the laptop I'm going to get:

(I'm a working student so I don't really want to use over $1000+ on a new comp.)
The last laptop I got was a Lenovo Ideapad y500, and that broke on me after 6 months. So if anyone has had any experience with the new laptop I'm about to get, how long and how good did it last you? XD
Would the hp pavilion 15-e020tx notebook PC be a good enough pc to play games like Grand Theft Auto 4 & San Andreas, Call of duty MW2, MW3 and i would like it to be good enough to have no lag when i record those games Please
I'm having a hard time deciding between two gaming laptops, both with awesome pricetags of less than $1900 (where I live)
Should I get the Lenovo Y510P, or the Acer Aspire V3-772G?
I'm gonna be gaming, livestreaming, animating & rendering, and also using it for school.
I've owned an Acer, and that lasted 6 years and is still working fine, which really impresses me. The Lenovo however seems to have A LOT of issues and customer complaints, even a simple google search revealed many people having many problems with it (though it may not happen to me)
Both PCs have 16GB ram, intel I7, Nvidia graphics, but the Lenovo comes with an SLI… So which is better to get, and is SSD important?
I don't know too much about computers, so please speak in elementary terms to me. I think my Windows Lenovo laptop… I think it's a Lenovo G550, at least, that's what it said on a sticker on the bottom of the computer, anyway, I received a new Fujifilm S4850 (which I'm more familiar with than a computer) that I got for my birthday in October of last year. So I've had it 7 months. I have lots of pictures on it, a ton of which I've downloaded onto the computer with the cable the camera came with. I've had success with it for all 7 months, until yesterday. I tried to connect it to all 3 USB ports on the computer several times for several minutes each. Nothing. I even took out the battery from the laptop for 5 minutes. No change. Restarted the computer numerous times and got nowhere. So today, I got a USB card reader for the camera card. I plugged it into all 3 ports on the laptop and, yes I made sure the reader was compatible with a SDHC card (yes, it is). The same reaction. The computer can't read it. At this point I have been patient with it, but as you can see, I don't have lots of patience with technology. I'm angry with it now.
A side note that might be beneficial: when I click on that Windows icon at the bottom left corner, where it says "Shut down" there's a shield with an exclamation mark icon. It tells me to update, but it will configure many times, failing each time. Does that have anything to do with it?
Currently I'm buying a new laptop and I wonder which one is better for gaming?
Thank you.
Added (1). Mostly i'm worried about the graphics
Asus:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 (N14P-GT) 4GB + Intel HD Graphics 4600
Lenovo:
2x NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI, GDDR5, 4GB (2+2).
Added (2). This asus is not a touchscreen and has more RAM than Lenovo (Asus 12gb, Lenovo 8gb), the processor is the same and the hard drive Asus has 2x1TB 5400rpm, 2.5, Lenovo SSHDSATA 2 (3 Gbit/s) 1TB + 8GB, 5400rpm. But still if Lenovo really has the better graphics and display I will choose lenovo.
I have a Lenovo Essential G505 and ever since a Windows update to 8.1 the sound has stopped working - with earphones and without. I have been googling for hours and nothing has seemed to work. I've grown up with technology but I'm not exactly a whiz. I've tried what everyone has said.
Please somebody help - I use my laptop for netlfix and itunes a lot so this is kinda bad for me
So I've been working on this for hours now.
It's enabled (I checked from Setup > Security > Something like IO OI thing? > Integrated Webcam > then I enabled it.
I went back to Device Manager, there's still no Imaging Setting or Integrated Webcam. Nowhere to be found.
I tried reinstalling the driver, about a million times. It says plugin camera and re install driver. Something like that.
I've done almost everything. It's definitely NOT a hardware issue.
Please help, I appreciate it.
Added (1). Like I said,
I have been, but it just keeps saying
Setup Failed!
Please plugin camera, and install driver again.
My Lenovo laptop came with a product key three years ago, but my sociopathic cousin ripped it off. Is there another product key stored on the computer by any chance?
I have asked this question before but didn't help.
I'm using a Lenovo laptop.
My internet is google chrome, whatever i do it won't save any passwords, I press save password when chrome asks but it still deletes them when i close chrome, it always signs me out of Facebook, youtube, college website anything. My settings are on allow local data to be set (recommended). I have try to reset to original setting a few times but it won't get fixed. I think my laptop itself is deleting them i use to have ccleaner but it deleted it along time ago and the problem didn't happen then. Any ideas of what is happening?
I have a desktop with the same chrome account and it saves all my passwords and stuff with no problems this is only on my lenovo laptop
