What is the best Free Sound/voice recording App available online?

I have to do a recorded stories so I need an app for my (Lenovo Idea Pad) laptop that will let me edit it. No video its just a voice recording I did on my phone (Samsung s3 mini). I need to cut out bad parts and add additional sounds. I want to put two to four different recording together to make one. I need effects like chimes transition effects maybe giggling and clapping, traffic sounds, nature music, door closing those type of stuff.
As soon as possible.

How to get Microsoft Office back?

I just had my hard drive replaced by the manufacturer of my laptop (it's a Lenovo y500 if that makes a difference). When I got the laptop, it came with Microsoft Office 2013, but now it doesn't have that software anywhere that I can see. It still has all the other programs that came with the laptop originally though. Is there a way I can get office for free again without using torrents or anything of that nature? My laptop is still under warranty (once again, I don't know if that really makes any difference to the situation).

My Lenovo Thinkpad R61 won't start?

I've tried Startup Repair and it says that windows can't fix the problem automatically. What else can I do? Is it possible it's a hardware problem?

Recommend a laptop for marketer?

My main needs are (YOU CAN SKIP TIL THE "READ HERE:" if this is too long for you)
It has to be Windows computer, no Apple.
Need to use Microsoft Office to create and manage projects in Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
I need Adobe Photoshop for some small designs (no big file formats).
I need a good display, big enough to fit information.
Good battery life.
Good construction - Notebook has to last at least 5-6 years physically, I don't intend to drop it or smash it.
Those are my MAIN needs.

Secondary needs are things like - if it could play movies flawlessly while I'm on a trip with a bus or a airplane. I don't care about computer games because I don't intend to play them.

Basically I need one Small Office laptop - price range should be somewhere around ~650$

I prefer Lenovo because they intend to last longer - better construction and good construction quality is one of my MAIN needs. No HP or Asus or other manufactures with cheap construction.

NEEDS Office, Photoshop, Movies, Youtube, Facebook

About anything else - I don't care.

How to find end-of-life for a laptop?

Before making the purchase, how & from where/whom one should get to know about the expiry/end-of-life of a laptop? Let's say, I need to find it for Lenovo B590-59390111.

Which laptop should I buy for school?

The past two laptops I've bough were Asus and they lasted me less than two years each. I'm looking for something light enough to bring to class, but powerful enough for all my needs. I basically just use Word, Excel, I watch a lot of movies and netflix, and a lot of internet usage. I don't think I need a mac computer, it just seems unnecessary. I'm fairly clumsy, so I need a laptop that won't break easily. Price is not a big deal, but I'm looking for something under $800.

Any suggestions?

Good laptop for video editing and light gaming?

I need a new laptop, that will be good for both video and music editing, and some light gaming. No MacBooks. And please do not recommend a desktop, I know in my last question I asked if I should get a desktop, but i've settled for a laptop.

It can't be alienware because my budget stops around 800-1000

Most preferably 500-700 please

I was considering the:
HP - ENVY TouchSmart Sleekbook 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - 8GB Memory - 750GB Hard Drive - Modern Silver
but the only con is that it doesn't have a CD slot and, I don't know if it's good for gaming.

How well will will this laptop run Minecraft and Steam games?

Hi, I soon plan to get a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p with the specs below and wanted to know. How well will this laptop run Minecraft and most Steam games like Garry's Mod, Goat Simulator, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2?

I do not want to waste cash on a laptop that doesn't work like expected and not be able to refund it. Also yes I'm aware there are Way better laptops like the Razor Blade Pro. But I'm in need of a laptop that runs everything pretty good like video editing, gaming and more and that doesn't cost over $1,500.

These are it's specs

Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.4 GHz Processor (6 MB Cache)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
24 GB Solid-State Drive
Non-Touchscreen 15.6-Inch Display
Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT750M Discrete Graphics
Windows 8.1 64-bit
5-hour battery life
Intel 7260 b/g/n Wireless (2x2 BGN)

Please note if it can run the games I've listed above as I do play them often and would love to know it will play well.
Any legitimate and well explaining answer is VERY much appreciated.
