What is wrong with my USB 2.0 ports?

All my USB ports are defective all of the sudden in my Lenovo ThinkCentre with W7 Ultimate. My mouse, keyboard and wireless adapter works, but it doesn't pick up my android phone. My flash drive gets picked up, but my sister's laptop has got the same problem. I have tried EVERY possible thing to try and fix this but nothing has worked so far and I'm running out of options.
How can I fix this? I need to use my USB ports

How to stop thses FPS drops when using Fraps?

Ok so I recently got Fraps to record my gaming exploits. When using it with League of Legends it tends to cause frequent and annoying fps spikes. Hoping to remedy this I tried the lolrecorder program, hoping that recording a recording would stop the spikes… It did not. I even resorted to lowering all graphics levels to the minimum, windowed mode, fullscreen, and borderless window. I have even tried using different options on fraps, such as locking the framerate, nothing seems to remedy this.

Now, I use a laptop, Lenovo 410, and it runs all my games perfectly at the highest settings.
I'm fairly certain the fact that it is a laptop is a factor, I'm hoping it is not because I would really like to be able to record things without needing to buy a desktop… I read something about the hardrive that fraps is writing to also containing the game itself could be the reason, if so could I simply get a flashdrive and fix it that way? I know they do not write as fast as a regular hardrive but one can hope right?

What causes the humming noise in my desktop?

Okay I have a Lenovo IdeaCentre K330B with an i3 Core Processor with 8 GB DDR Ram. Anyways, since I had the computer I have added a 2 GB Nvidia for X-Plane and purchased a new fan and heat sink to replace the factory, which was said to be better. I have ran some pretty taxing programs on it in Windows 7 like Adobe Master Suite and many others, until I decided to dump my OS and give 8.1 a try. (don't make the upgrade if you are comfortable with 7 because 8.1 isn't better). Anyways, I reloaded Office 2013, a few adobe programs that I actually use, and I run my simulator (un-simultaneously), and a few others. Now I understand hearing loud humming and fan noise when I run X-Plane or Photoshop, but the humming does not go away when I close all programs and let the system idle. It will pulsate hum all night driving me insane until I force my PC into sleep mode or power down. Anyways, what is causing my PC to run so hot? I ruled out a virus or spyware, and notice all CPU processes are normal. Is my PC just getting old or am I'm need of a more expensive cooling system. I can't stand it, it is so annoying. What can I do? Or have I exhausted all angles within financial reason?

Desktop recommendations to run Skyrim 30+ FPS Medium graphics?

I would like any recommendations of any solid desktops that can run Skyrim smoothly and with good graphics at a price range of $500-600
My current set up is a Toshiba Satellite C675 http://www.toshiba.com/...C675-S7321
When i have most of the graphics set to low and AA off, it gets an average of 25 FPS when I run skyrim, which I don't want.

I also thought about purchasing this desktop, but I'm not sure if it will do the trick? http://www.bestbuy.com/...Id=3269007,

How can system mechanic tell me my computer has numerous issues when the computer is brand new?

I have had experience with system mechanic on my old dell computer and I thought it was a good program, it helped me fix a lot of issues with my computer. I recently bought a new Lenovo computer and I installed system mechanic right away. On the first scan about 8 different problems came up and it said my computer is in bad shape. How can this be? I don't understand how a brand new Lenovo computer can have so many problems on the first use. Is system mechanic just a scam? Does the program itself upon installation cause my computer to have these problems, creating the illusion that my computer is in bad shape so that I feel that I need system mechanic to keep my computer alive so that I keep buying it year after year? I wouldn't be surprised. I'm just speculating here, if anyone has some real information or advice I'd love to hear it.

What kind of computer should I buy?

I usually buy really cheap laptops and they die within a year due to the charger port. This time, I'm thinking I will try a desktop. What kind shall I buy? I want it to run Windows 7, to be pretty fast, reliable and I want it to last a long time. I'm thinking maybe a Lenovo?
