I'm planning to buy HP Envy 800-072D what can you say about the model?

My cousin said I should go for a lenovo desktop rather than HP, but I already planned on buying HP envy 800-072D. I just read reviews about HP models but didn't find any review about the specific model and left me hanging. Should I change my mind? If so, can you recommend any lenovo model? Or any desktop.

Where is the missing home start button?

I recently bought a Lenovo Horizon that didn't have the Windows 8.1 update. I updated it and instead of going to tiles it took me straight to the desktop. Moreover there was this small home shaped button next to the windows button on the task bar. I clicked it and it was basically a start button but really cool. I really liked how it worked and I thought it was part of the latest Windows 8.1 update. Am I missing something? Does anyone know anything about this mysterious button?

How to get my old desktop external speakers to work with my new Lenovo a530 all-in-one?

I connected them through the headphone jack but no sound comes through. The a530 has built in speakers that work fine, but they sound terrible for music. When I connect the external speaks, there's no software that opens up to configure anything, and there's no software that gives me that functionality which is currently loaded on the machine.

Windows 8.1 internet problems?

My Lenovo y510p's internet has been acting up. I have and Intel wireless n-7260, and I used the device manager to check if it was up to date and it said it was, I'm not sure if that is always true or not though. The wireless works fine in desktop mode, like right now I'm asking this question using chrome in the desktop mode, but when it comes to Microsoft software, like Word 2013, it can't connect. The same goes for apps in the start menu. News, weather, and any app that I downloaded like Netflix and Twitter don't connect and say that I'm not connected to the internet when I clearly am. Also, when I try to use windows update, it freezes during the download. I have Norton, and have tried turning the firewall off but it didn't change anything. If someone knows what is going on I would greatly appreciate it.

Added (1). The Intel Wireless N-7260's driver version is 16.5.3.6

Added (2). I just found an update for my driver online, and its now the latest driver, and I'm not having trouble connecting to the internet, I can do that fine, its just that applications in the start menu don't recognize i have internet.
