My Lenovo y510p's internet has been acting up. I have and Intel wireless n-7260, and I used the device manager to check if it was up to date and it said it was, I'm not sure if that is always true or not though. The wireless works fine in desktop mode, like right now I'm asking this question using chrome in the desktop mode, but when it comes to Microsoft software, like Word 2013, it can't connect. The same goes for apps in the start menu. News, weather, and any app that I downloaded like Netflix and Twitter don't connect and say that I'm not connected to the internet when I clearly am. Also, when I try to use windows update, it freezes during the download. I have Norton, and have tried turning the firewall off but it didn't change anything. If someone knows what is going on I would greatly appreciate it.
Added (1). The Intel Wireless N-7260's driver version is 16.5.3.6
Added (2). I just found an update for my driver online, and its now the latest driver, and I'm not having trouble connecting to the internet, I can do that fine, its just that applications in the start menu don't recognize i have internet.
