My laptop keeps changing my IPv4 settings. How do I stop it?

The last few days I've been having trouble accessing the Internet on my laptop. Whenever I used the troubleshooter it would reset the built in wireless adapter and would solve the problem.

After a few days the troubleshooter began to say:
'Problem with wireless adapter or access point -not fixed'
And
'Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server)'

I searched on my phone, and changed the IPv6 and IPv4 settings to 'obtain automatically' and this solved the problem.

Then the IPv4 DNS setting began to revert back to manual. I would change it back to automatic, and this would give me access to the Internet for a few days, before changing itself back to manual. The more I did it, the less time I had access to the Internet before I had to put it back to automatic. Now, I have access to the Internet for about 2-10 seconds before it switches itself back.

I have done a virus check and found nothing. Reset the router. Disabled and enabled the adapter. Nothing is sorting it out. Everyone else in the house has no problems.

Any video i play freezes/glitches, and my comouter is just generally slow

I have a lenovo b50 touch laptop that I just got in September. Everything had been working great until about a week ago. My internet connection and ethernet connections are great(I had them checked by IT), but it takes forever to load a webpage and when i stream netflix, or any video, the picture freezes but the sound continues to play. I reload the page and then it will play almost normally for a little while but then both the picture and the sound start glitching and freezing. I have defragged and optimized my system multiple times, and my antivirus(webroot) says everything is fine. Any suggestions would be fantastic thanks!

Which Computer Should I Get for Computer Science?

I want to major in Computer Science, and I know that I want to invest in a new laptop. Here's the question: Apple or Windows? I don't want to hear apple/window fanboy answers, I want logic related to the types of things I will be doing on it in a computer science class, such as coding.

Lenovo thinks it's a Toshiba?

So, long story short, I installed the Windows 10 tester on my main laptop and the end result was a completely wiped harddriver with no OS on it at all. My stepdad used a backup he'd made of his laptop to get mine going again, but the problem is now that mine is a Lenovo and it thinks it's a Toshiba because of the disk he used. Is there any way for me to restore it back to Lenovo? He said try installing the drivers, but I've installed every single one that it would allow and it's still showing as a Toshiba C: drive. Not only that, my D: drive has disappeared completely. I saw something online about restoring it back to factory settings, but I'm understandably worried about screwing it up again (I've spent the last three days putting 8.1 back on, installing a buttload of updates and installing those drivers).

Any help would be appreciated!

Could I play a PS4 on my laptop screen?

I have two lenovo laptop computers, that each can receive HDMI cables, the Lenovo Z500 Touch and the Lenovo G580 laptops. If I had a PS4 and connected the HDMI cable into one of the laptops, would the PS4 run and be displayed on the monitor? If so, how could I get it to work? Or would I need an HDTV?

Latptop charger port loose. Again?

My last laptop (an Acer) was plagued with charger issues. We sent it in for repairs 4 times within a few months before we gave up and got rid of it entirely. At the time, we had thought it was just a bad laptop and worse customer service. So when we got my new one, we made sure to get a different brand. This is a Lenovo Ideapad S400 Touch. All of a sudden, as of last night, the charger port began to come a bit loose. I didn't pay it too much attention, because in my previous experience, charger ports can last a few days or weeks more before they become absolutely unusable. But I just sat down to plug in my laptop again, maybe 12 hours later, and the cable wouldn't even stay in. My laptop will not charge by any means now. Is this problem just way more common than I thought? In that case, why did it never happen with my first two laptops? Is it possible that I have been doing something to cause this to happen to my computers over and over again? And most importantly, how can I fix it?

What's a good laptop for Minecraft?

I'm looking to buy a laptop for web browsing mainly but I'd like to play Minecraft as well. I'm not that interested in any other games. I wasn't really looking to pay more than $570. I was looking at the lenovo yoga 2 for $500 on amazon? Is that a good choice? If not, any suggestions?
