Microsoft help all users upgrade the OS to win10 by so many ways. Such as upgrade online. But when i finished upgrade my laptop(lenovo 420), it is failed and shows some error messages. So i have to recovery some of my files storage C drive. Who can help me recover the files in Win10?
My laptop is a Lenovo G580. It has windows vista 8.1. It had the boot failure message as it was starting up. So I tried to press f2 it would take me to a place where I have to enter a password. Not sure what the password is. Basically F2 does not take me to BIOS. If I click F12 it brings me to a page that says boot manager then it has two options: EFI NETWORK 0 for IPV6 OR EFI NETWORK 0 for IPV4. If I click on either of them it says boot failed - checking media. Then a blue box pops up and says default boot device missing insert recovery media and hit any key then select boot manager to choose a new boot device or boot recovery media.
I Don't have any recovery media. Not sure what that is. So basically clicking F2 brings me to a password screen and clicking F12 brings me to that boot failure page.
Please help me at least be able to save my files. Can I get into Bios at least? Or do I have to take my hard drive and put it in an external thingy?

Added (1). Hi guys. I'm planning to buy a new laptop for me. Well i'm a 3d artist and interior designer. I use softwares like maya, 3ds max, cinema 4d, zbrush, real flow, vue, vray, photoshop, after effects etc etc.So which laptop is suitable for working with these softwares. Ryt now 3 laptops are in front of me, when i searchd via online.
Dell precision M6800, Lenovo y70 and macbook pro 15 retina eye. Which one is better. Or suggest any other.

My laptop, a Lenovo S20, had not suffered any hits as far as I know, and was purchased a little less than a month ago for my school work, will not work properly, the screen has white static and dead green spots all over it, it will occasionally show a screen that should happen (Recovery screen, password screen, etc.) But for only a couple of seconds.
(Additional detail: The laptop has Windows 8.1 installed on it)

Microsoft just notified me that I can reserve my free windows 10 upgrade. But when I checked my pc, it said that my AMD Radeon HD 8400 and my Bluetooth Audio Device might not work with Windows 10. Uhm, can I install another driver that will work with windows 10? Or this driver is like, permanently installed in my computer? Help me please. Thank you.
PS. My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad.

I love to make Vine edits and YouTube edits but my laptop now always freezes when I finish or while I'm in the middle of editing. I use Movie Maker to merge my clips together or transition them. I need to know a good laptop with a GREAT editing software for videos and photos. My price range is about to $400. (My Dell laptop has only lasted for about a year, so I'm really just looking for a Toshiba or Lenovo laptop).

This is brand new laptop. Its a Lenovo and i installed google chrome onto it i went to down load iTunes and it wasn't letting me. And even when i tried downloading from google images it did nothing
What can i do to fix this?
