Good laptops for gaming and graphics design?

I'm a college student looking for a laptop good for gaming and graphics design. I'm looking for one that could run fairly large games in full quality, at least 2.5 ghz, and a newer AMD processor. I was looking at a Lenovo Ideapad, but not quite sure. I will need lots of room for photos and programs such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver, but being a college student I'm on a budget so definitely would like to spend 600 or less. Any ideas?

Lenovo Laptop mouse problem?

So, I have the Lenovo ThinkPad Twist with Windows 8. All of a sudden, my mouse/touchpad? (the big square part where you use your finger to use the mouse.) started acting up. I can move the cursor, but it keeps highlighting everything and when i hover over an icon it automatically highlights it and when i move the cursor it moves the icon with it.

How to watch TV and use my laptop at the same time with hdmi cable in Windows 8?

I figure out how to have full screen using the hdmi cable, but I still don't know how to be able to watch something on TV, and use my laptop at the same time (for example, if my dad wants to watch tennis using the hdmi cable on tv while connecting the hdmi cable to both the tv and my laptop so that the streaming video can be shown on the TV, how can he watch tennis while I'm using the PC? I have tried this, but I only found a way that he can watch TV, but I won't be able to use the laptop). I still don't know how to program this correctly so that I can watch TV (or someone else) while I'm using the computer at the same time. By the way, I have a Lenovo computer from the G505s series with Windows 8 (model number 20255).

I'm thinking of buying a gaming laptop but?

Sims 3 freezes after 30 minutes?

So before I get into this, I have a windows 7, Lenovo 2.0, and intel inside core i5. I probably sound like a dumba*s because I don't much about computers but that's what my computer says. Anyways before I even get into the gameplay it takes 10 minutes on the loading screen that says "to discontinue this experience opt. Out of it in the options" or something like that and I don't know how to opt out of it because I looked through the options 3 times so could someone help me with that? Also after about 30 minutes of gameplay a popup says Sims 3 is using high memory usage and that means if I don't get off that second my Sims 3 doesn't save and it freezes. I tried taking the game out of full screen but it doesn't do any help. Any tips for these situation and if you could make them simple that would be very much appreciated because I'm not that good with computers. Thanks!

Added (1). I don't have money to buy a new laptop/computer and I don't have any other laptop/computer that I can use.

Which is better? Windows 7 or Windows 8?

Which is better OS for my Lenovo G480 Laptop? - Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 8 Pro. I've used both in different computers and I liked both very much. According to me, both Win 7 and Win 8 is very good to use. Windows 7 is easy to use and it has nice themes than Windows 8. Windows 8 is faster than Windows 7 and it has a whole new world of Start menu Apps. I can't decide whether I wanna install Windows 7 or 8 in my laptop. Internet Explorer 11 is available for Windows 7, but it is not available for Windows 8. We can play Games in Windows 7 without any Microsoft account. But I've not Microsft account to use in Windows 8 and I also don't wanna create any Microsoft account. I totally like both very much. Can anyone suggest me what I wanna use- Win 7 or Win 8?

Which Laptop should I get? - 2

I can't decide between a Lenovo Z710 or HP Envy 17. I would like to use the laptop for web browsing and web design, watching videos/ on demand players, playing some games etc.

The spec of the Lenovo is:
CPU: Intel I7-4700MQ
Graphics: GeForce GT 740M
GPU memory: 2GB
RAM: 6GB
Hard Drive: 1 TB HDD + 8 GB SSD
Price: £799.95

The spec of the HP is:
CPU: Intel i&-4700MQ
Graphics: GeForce GT 740M
GPU memory: 2GB
RAM: 12GB
Hard Drive: 1TB HDD
Price: £899.99

Which brand is better and lasts longest in your opinion?

Are modern games going to work with 6GB of RAM or is it better to have 12GB?

Are these good specs to have for these prices?

Please help I don't want to buy a bad laptop.

Added (1). Just checked the Lenovo website, amazon and several other sites the RAM is 8GB not the 6GB stated on John Lewis website.
